Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT) is making sure The Tire Cologne is more than a consumer tire show.

BKT will display specific agricultural, agro-industrial, earthmover, OTR, industrial and construction tires in the Koelnmesse Convention Center in Cologne, Germany. The trade fair will be held May 29 through June 1, 2018.

* For agricultural applications, BKT will display its Agrimax Force in size IF 900/60R42, a tire that was specifically designed with IF technology and high-power tractors in mind. The tire combines increased load capacity with lower inflation pressure compared to a standard tire of the same size. Also on display will be Agrimax Teris in size 800/65R32 for high-power harvesters and spreaders.

* For both the industrial and agricultural sectors, BKT will exhibit Con Star in size 400/70–24, a tire targeted for backhoe loaders, compact loaders and telehandlers. The company says the tire represents "a winning mix of features providing lateral and vertical stability, high load capacity along with an extended product life-cycle."

* Designed for terminal tractors employed in heavy-duty operations at ports, container terminals, and logistics and distribution centers, the Portmax PT 93 will be on display in size 280/75R22.5.

* Also on display will be the Airomax AM 27 (pictured) in size 445/95R25. The crane tire is suitable on not only road surfaces but also aggressive terrains at construction sites.

The BKT booth, which will promote its 2018 marketing campaign, "A long way together," "will be livened up by moments of fun and entertainment," said the company. Visitors will get the opportunity to win exclusive BKT "gadgets."
