From tire remoulding and tire recycling to the future of digitalization, recycling and fleet management, organizers of the new Tire Cologne say the event hit the mark.

The Tire Cologne, held May 29-June 1, 2018, in Cologne, Germany, included 533 exhibiting companies and another 70 brands from 40 countries. More than 16,000 trade visitors registered, and they were from 113 countries. About 60% of the visitors were from abroad.

The strongest international contingents came from Italy, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Turkey, as well as from China, India, Taiwan and the U.S.

"The Tire Cologne successfully mastered the 'tire change; to Cologne," says Katharina Hamma, chief operating officer of Koelnmesse, the company that organized The Tire Cologne. "The performance was optimal: visitor quality, event concept, new orientation and the generous hall offering of the Cologne location convinced exhibitors and visitors."

The event presents innovations and products from tire and wheel suppliers, as well as automotive services, tire retreading/remoulding, and tire recycling and disposal.

"An impressive premiere event," is the summary from Stephan Helm, chairman of the German association of the tire and vulcanisation trade (BRV).
