Community Wholesale Tire Inc. recently opened its fourth distribution center. The 77,000-square-foot warehouse, located in Peoria, Ill., gives the company nearly 600,000 square feet of warehouse space.

The company also operates warehouses in Kansas City, Springfield, and St. Louis, Mo. It distributes to tire dealers in nine states: Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Nebraska, Arkansas and Oklahoma. It has

Community Wholesale Tire has been a family owned and operated business for more than 80 years, with all four owners, as well as other family members, active in the company. It is one of the largest family-owned tire distributors in the Midwest.

The company has more than 200 employees with an average length of employment at over eight years. Twenty employees have been with the company for 20 years and five for 40 or more years.
