There are 115 million Americans who don’t qualify for traditional financing, according to research by WestCreek Financial Inc. In addition, 61% don’t even have enough money saved for a $1,000 emergency.
When potential customers have unproven credit or no credit at all, tire dealers are left in the position of either not selling them tires or working with them to secure alternative financing. “And if you don’t work with these customers, your competitors will,” says the company.
