Ceat Specialty Tires Inc. has partnered with a Costa Rican tire distributor to sell Ceat ag, off-the-road and industrial tires. Recauchadora Trac-Taco SA was founded in 1964, and serves an extensive network of tire dealers across the country.

“We’re looking forward to working with Trac-Taco to bring Ceat quality and value to the farmers and ranchers of Costa Rica,” says Vijay Gambhire, managing director of Ceat. “They’ve built an outstanding business by delivering exceptional customer service and technical expertise. Additionally, as the only carbon neutral tire distributor in Costa Rica, we greatly respect their commitment to the environment.”

Ceat and Trac-Taco introduced the brand to tire dealers and end user customers during a recent event in San Jose, which featured Ceat product displays and executives, including Carlos Acosta, business development manager for Ceat in Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Miguel Yamuni, general manager of Trac-Taco, says the company is excited about introducing Ceat ag, OTR and industrial tires to their customers. “It is a very high quality product that we believe will be well accepted in the marketplace here."
