Nebraskaland Tire Co. Inc. updated its point-of-sale system to the Vast system offered by Mam Software Inc.
With 46 locations doing business as Nebraskaland Tire, Kansasland Tire and Coloradoland Tire, the group of retail, commercial and wholesale locations was making its first POS system change in 25 years. The group had been utilizing the Goodyear Business Management System (GBMS).
“This was a huge change for us after so many years on GBMS,” said Carson Wright, the company’s vice president. “We all were really pleased with how Mam Software worked with us through this change and we are now reaping the benefits of the new system including, better inventory management, electronic ordering of parts and tires within our point of sale. The next phase of the project is now to deploy CarSide, Mam’s digital inspection application.”
Mam says Vast was designed to optimize business performance and improve customer service practices. The latest version includes features such as the integration with Mam Software’s parts catalog and connectivity solution, Vast Commerce, and integration with the company’s CarSide digital vehicle inspections.
“We have invested a lot of resources into developing new features and solutions through the help of our customers over the years,” says John Fischer, vice president of sales and marketing for Mam Software.
With 46 locations, Nebraskaland Tire is tied for 25th on the Modern Tire Dealer 100.
