Robert Bosch LLC has added 47 part numbers to its braking, O2 sensor, ignition coil and oil filter lines.
The additions include:
* part numbers for Bosch blue brake pads and Bosch QuietCast Brake Pads that expand coverage for Asian, domestic and European vehicles;
* OE-fit O2 sensor additions cover new domestic and Asian vehicles in operation;
* four ignition coils for domestic, Asian and European vehicles; and
* Premium, DistancePlus and Workshop oil filter brands for many 2014 vehicles.
Bosch QuietCast brake pads and Bosch blue brake pads
The company says 34 new Bosch QuietCast and Bosch Blue Brake Pad sets from the Bosch Braking Components group expand Bosch coverage for many late-model Aasian, domestic and European vehicles. The 34 additions increase Bosch coverage for an additional 5.3 million units in operation.
Bosch oxygen sensors
The Bosch Gasoline Systems group has introduced four new OE-fit oxygen sensors that together cover 10.9 million new Asian and Domestic vehicles in operation. Of these part number additions, two are wideband air/fuel ratio sensors. The company says wideband A/F sensors represent the newest and most advanced technology in the oxygen sensor category.
Bosch ignition coils
Bosch has also added four new ignition coils to its product line to cover 2.3 million Asian, domestic and European vehicles that are no longer under service warranty but are prime candidates for service in the independent aftermarket.
Bosch oil filters
Five oil filter part numbers covering 6.6 million new vehicles have been released by the Bosch filter group. Among them, two are Bosch Premium Oil Filters, one is a DistancePlus Oil Filter and two are Workshop Oil Filters that fit many 2014 Ford, Subaru, GM cars and trucks.
