Bridgestone/Firestone (BFS) Inc.'s new organizational unit, U.S. Tire Operations, will oversee the company's domestic consumer and commercial tire business.
It will consist of BFS' manufacuring, technology and research divisions, plus its two sales organizations: U.S. Commercial Tire and U.S. Consumer Tire.
Bridgestone Corp. veteran and BFS Vice Chairman Isao Togashi has been named president of U.S. Tire Operations. He reports to BFS CEO and President John Lampe.
