International freight services from Maritime Cargo
The Reifen 2014 International Trade Fair in Essen, Germany, is over, but Modern Tire Dealer's coverage of the event isn't. This is the third post-show "bonus" article from John Stone, an esteemed international journalist based out of the United Kingdom.
This one, written in Stone's inimitable British style, is on Maritime Cargo Services.
Making their debut as an exhibitor at this year's Reifen Show were U.K.-based Maritime Cargo Services who, having attended as visitors previously, decided the time was right to take the company's growing marketing strategy to the next level and showcase their services.
Partner Robert Shelley informed MTD that with tires currently representing around 25% of the company's business, it made sense to raise their corporate image with a booth. Robert said, “Our main objective at the show was to not only meet existing clients with a view to discussing future business partnerships, but also attract the interest of potentially new clients.
"At the same time, we were looking to generally raise our profile in the tire industry as a well established, professional freight shipping business offering a clear vision of providing a service that is tailored to the precise needs of the wholesale tire markets.”
Maritime Cargo Services was founded in April 1992 as a family-owned and managed company, and over the last 22 years has progressively evolved into a confident Freight business dedicated to delivering on time and on budget with total visibility, Robert said, “Our Moats container tracking system specifically handles all tire imports as well as keeping in contact with buyers via email or websites and also includes multi shipment viewing facilities.
“The show has proved to be a very interesting and successful venture for Maritime Cargo Services, which looks set to help us further extend our already comprehensive global client base in the tire industry.”
