Discount Tire has opened a store in Mount Pleasant, Texas. The company now operates 231 stores in Texas.
The Mount Pleasant store, which is Discount Tire’s first outlet in that city, is managed by Vincent Smith. He has worked for the company for 15 years. Six of the 12 employees at the Mount Pleasant store are new hires.
Discount Tire operates more than 875 stores in 28 states.
The company is based in Scottsdale, Ariz., and does business under the trade name Discount Tire in most of the U.S. and America’s Tire in Oregon, and parts of Washington and California.
Discount Tire, which is part of the Reinalt-Thomas Corp., ranks No. 1 on the 2013 MTD 100.
