First Bridgestone Club46 Winners meet their hero Valentino Rossi

Last month Bridgestone Europe launched Club46 in collaboration with MotoGP superstar Valentino Rossi. This weekend (17 – 18 May 2014) Bridgestone welcomed to the Le Mans Grand Prix, the first lucky winners of the ultimate, money-can’t-buy prize; to meet nine-time World Champion Valentino Rossi.

The winners of this incredible prize were Marcin Lewandowski from Poland and Séverine Milet from Belgium, both of whom were also able to bring along a guest to share the experience with them. The winners were selected after correctly answering Valentino Rossi themed questions on the Bridgestone Club46 website.

For the first prize draw there were a total of 46 prize winners, the 44 runners up received prizes such as a Bridgestone podium cap signed by Valentino Rossi, an iPod Nano, a VR46 hoodie and other fantastic prizes.

Marcin, Séverine and their guests were provided with paddock passes allowing them to get behind the scenes at the famous Le Mans circuit. They were met by Bridgestone staff and taken to meet their idol, Valentino Rossi, who signed autographs and posed for pictures with them. The winners were also able to visit the Movistar Yamaha MotoGP garage and get up close to Valentino’s Yamaha M1 bike.

Commenting on his experience of meeting Rossi, Marcin said: “We entered the competition last year and didn’t win. This year we tried again and I can’t believe we won. I still didn’t believe it until the tickets arrived! We were shaking when we met him, it was amazing!”

An ecstatic Séverine said:“We are huge fans of Valentino. My boyfriend is from very close to Tavullia where Valentino lives so we have always been fans. We were very surprised to win, I couldn’t believe it. The organisation was perfect and very professional. Meeting Valentino was amazing; I had stars in my eyes. Thank you so much to Bridgestone for this amazing experience.”
