Dill introduces a 'friendly' tire inflator system

May 19, 2014

The new tire inflator from Dill Air Controls Products LLC features a user friendly design that couples high fill rate with a built-in air release. The result? Technicians can “dial in” the desired tire pressure quickly and accurately.

The "user configurable" inflator system (pictured) is assembled and tested in the company's North Carolina manufacturing facility. Techs choose the hose length (from 3 feet up to 12 feet) and then select the desired air chuck from a wide variety of options.

Each inflator/gauge system is tested for accuracy at three positions prior to shipment, reinforcing the quality and workmanship in the new air inflator line, according to the company.

"When we build a machine to automate assembly, it is highly technical and discussed with customers to understand their needs," says Robin Pendergraph, Dill’s manufacturing design expert on air inflators. "That way when it is building a part, the part comes out accurate and identical every time."

Dill Air Controls Products provides the automotive industry with tire pressure monitoring systems, valve stems and air gauges in addition to inflation devices. For more information, visit www.dillvalves.com.
