The “Braking Bad” team from the University of the Aftermarket Leadership 2.0 professional development program will discuss vehicle safety inspections at the 2014 Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS) in Rosemont, Ill., May 20-21.
The members of team Braking Bad will look at vehicle safety inspections from legislative and market perspectives. They will present ideas on how the aftermarket can capture a larger portion of both unperformed and underperformed vehicle maintenance.
“Braking Bad” was named the best team project at the leadership program.
The winning team members are: Todd Campau, manager, aftermarket products, IHS Automotive; Brian Evanoka, director of U.S. business development, Uni-Select USA Inc.; William D. "Bill" Maggs, president and CEO, National Pronto Association; Bailey Overman, senior analyst of industry analysis, Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association; and Jim Snipes, manager of manufacturing, Standard Motor Products Inc.
