Guy Pekle, CEO and president of Tire Centers LLC (TCi), a wholly owned subsidiary of Michelin North America Inc., will take a new position at Groupe Michelin’s headquarters in France on Sept. 1, 2014.
In his new role, Pekle (pictured) will be responsible for the account management, demand-to-cash and go-to-market process in Group Michelin’s commercial performance department.
Pekle joined Michelin in 1986. He has served as president of Michelin North America (Canada) Inc., president of Michelin Retread Technologies (Canada) Inc., and vice president of commercial sales for Michelin North America’s Michelin Americas Truck Tires division. He joined TCi in 2010.
He will be replaced at TCi by Don Byrd, vice president of marketing for passenger car and light truck tires in North America.
TCi operates a network of 86 distribution centers and has over 2,500 employees across the U.S.
