May 1 is the deadline for nominating someone for the Tire Industry Association (TIA) 2014-2015 TIA board of directors.
TIA board directors serve for three-year terms and may be re-elected to serve two additional, three-year terms.
Any TIA member in good standing or an official representative of an industry association may recommend candidates to the nominating committee in accordance with the TIA bylaws. Self-nominations are also welcome, says the association.
Positions on the TIA board are open to all TIA members who have been a member in good standing for two consecutive years, including manufacturers, independent tire dealers, wholesale distributors, suppliers, recyclers and retreaders.
“We invite you to nominate qualified and motivated leaders who are willing to be considered for election to the TIA board,” says TIA Executive Vice President Roy Littlefield. “Our board members play a critical role in helping TIA strengthen the industry and serving on the TIA board is very rewarding,”
All nominations should be submitted by completing and returning the TIA board of directors nomination form to the TIA office in Bowie, Md.
