Continental releases new TPMS catalog

March 26, 2014

Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket has released the VDO 2014 TPMS Replacement Parts Program catalog which features expanded Redi-Sensor multi-application TPMS coverage.

The catalog includes the latest application validations for the VDO Redi-Sensor Multi-Application TPMS sensor service solution, which provides extensive coverage for domestic, Asian and European vehicles in North America with four sensor SKUs.

The company says the overall VDO TPMS replacement parts program has also been expanded with additional coverage of OE sensors and service kits for a wider range of domestic, European and Asian vehicles.

Unlike other TPMS sensors that require the purchase of specialized sensor programming tools and software upgrades, no additional purchases or training are needed to get started with Redi-Sensor sensors because they are pre-programmed with software from the factory and designed to follow OE vehicle relearn procedures, according to Continental.

Continental says VDO Redi-Sensor sensors provide multi-application coverage for the broadest range of cars, vans, SUVs, crossovers and light trucks from 2002 – 2014, including recently expanded GM truck (“PWM”), Audi, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Volvo, Subaru and other Asian vehicle coverage.

The 2014 catalog features an application section and an illustrated buyer’s guide with individual listings for OE sensor assemblies, Redi-Sensor multi-application sensors, service kits, torque specifications, installation tips, service kit guide, make/model index, OE cross reference, Redi-Sensor cross reference, Redi-Sensor product information, and contact information.
