Bartec update adds three TPMS sensors

March 18, 2014

The latest software update from Bartec USA LLC adds three programmable aftermarket TPMS sensors to its replacement solutions.

Tool update 51 includes the ability to program Alligator sens.it sensors, Huf IntelliSens sensors, and in a market first according to Bartec, integrated programming of Cubelec sensors using the Tech500 tool. The company provided the following explanation of how each sensor is programmed.

Alligator sens.it sensors

Last year, Bartec added ALLIGATOR sens.it to the Tech400SD and Tech500, the newest of its TPMS diagnostic tools.  The new software adds sens.it  programming to the Tech400+ features list.  The Alligator sens.it consists of three blank sensors that cover up to 95% of TPMS vehicles to provide maximum coverage with minimum inventory, according to Bartec. The company says to contact a Bartec distributor if a software certificate is needed.

Huf Intellisens sensors

The software update adds IntelliSens configurable sensors to the Bartec Tech500 and Tech400SD TPMS tools.  The software update enables both tools to program the Intellisens sensor using Bartec’s, Make, Model, Year look up system.  To program the sensors, download and update the tools with release 51.

Cubelec sensors

Until now, programming of aftermarket sensors from 31 Inc. (Smart Sensor), Dorman (Multi-fit), ITM (Uni-Sensor) and Pilot required a separate sensor programmer, according to Bartec.  The company’s software update enables each sensor to be programmed with the Tech500.  Bartec says all that’s required to program these sensors is to download and update the Tech500 with R51 and purchase a programming fixture from a Bartec distributor.
