Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT) has released the first edition of its OTR tire maintenance manual for all users of OTR tires.
The manual is in line with BKT’s “Independence for Independents” strategy as it is published with an intent to providing access to technical information related to the construction, stamping, usage, operating condition requirements and broad categories of tire conditions, for all OTR users and customers, according to Arvind Poddar, BKT’s chairman and managing director.
In addition to providing technical information, the manual welcomes all users of OTR tires to provide input and communicate through an email portal any improvements, additions or suggestions they may have for the next edition.
The company says the manual is a testimony to its core principles of providing customer support and education to everyone. It was composed and published through a global effort comprising BKT’s technical personnel in Nashville, Tenn.; Edmonton, Alberta; Sergno, Italy; and Mumbai, India.
