Louisiana dealers to meet in New Orleans

Feb. 25, 2014

The Louisiana Independent Tire Dealers Association (LITDA) will host its “Trends & Treads” annual convention and trade show March 6-8 at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel in New Orleans.

“The annual convention has many benefits to offer the tire industry in Louisiana and our neighboring states,” says Eric Roundtree, LITDA president. “We are excited to return to New Orleans and host another successful event that brings together great friends and colleagues.”

The convention and trade show features a golf tournament, wine and cheese reception, round table discussion, Hall of Fame reception and more.

On Friday, March 7, LITDA will hold its annual golf tournament at Lakewood Golf Club. The proceeds will benefit the LITDA scholarship fund, which honors students who work or have family in the industry and who have proven community leadership and academic excellence.

On Saturday, March 8, keynote speaker Sean MacKinnon, director of automotive training development at TPMS Training, and Dr. Roy Littlefield, Tire Industry Association executive vice president, will speak at the convention. LITDA also will hold its trade show, followed by the 14th annual Hall of Fame reception, on Saturday. The reception will honor all past Hall of Fame recipients.

Registration for the event is $195 for members, $250 for new members joining and $150 for guests or spouses. Sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities are available as well that include a variety of benefits.
