BPI revamps marketing, sales efforts

Brake Parts Inc LLC (BPI) announced that the roles and responsibilities of its Sales and Marketing departments have been integrated to shift organizational alignment to be more receptive to customer’s changing needs.

Bruce Tartaglione now has global responsibility for the newly formed Marketing and Sales team and will serve as the senior vice president of Global Marketing and Sales for BPI.

“Bruce has a rich history in the aftermarket and is uniquely qualified to move BPI forward as a true customer champion,” says Dave Overbeeke, CEO and president of BPI.

“Integrating Marketing and Sales promotes progressive customer focus and supports increased market flexibility,” says Tartaglione. “As BPI continues its forward movement with future growth strategies, this unification will better serve our current and future customer base.”

Previous to his new position, Tartaglione served as the senior vice president of Global Sales for BPI, growing sales with existing customers and new business.

Tartaglione has 35 years of marketing and sales experience working in the automotive market and will lead a team of experienced aftermarket veterans as well as new team members. He is Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) recognized through the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA) University and is a five-time Young Executive nominee through the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA).

He is a past member of both the AAIA Marketing and Membership Committee and the AWDA Manufacturers Advisory Council. He is a current member and past board member of the Automotive Sales Council.
