Following an extensive inventory expansion last year, Blackburn’s Hubcap & Wheel Solutions Inc. announced it has launched a new corporate website at www.blackburnwheels.com.
According to Todd Deranek, director of Sales and Marketing at Blackburn’s, the new site was designed with a focus on being user-friendly and on being accessible from smartphones and tablets.
“Today more than ever, especially with the younger generations, everybody is accessing the Internet with their smartphone and tablet,” says Deranek.
“What’s key about this site is it has been programmed with the latest technology, which is responsive design. It is very user-friendly from a smartphone, a tablet or a PC.”
Visitors to the expanded site, which was designed by OuterBox Inc. of Akron, Ohio, will find features and descriptions of the company’s products including OEM alloy and steel wheels, late-model hubcaps, TPMS components, center caps/trim rings and antique/classic caps.
The site’s homepage includes links to sections on products and services, plus an informational video tells the complete Blackburn’s story. The site also describes Blackburn’s alloy wheel refinishing services, as well as bumper and parts rechroming.
The site is also linked with www.blackburnswheelfinder.com, a site that features a Wheel Finder function that goes back 30+ years.
“In the next six months that same responsive design technology is going on our Wheel Finder so it too will be very user-friendly,” says Deranek. “We at Blackburn’s are going to continue to position ourselves to meet the needs of our loyal customers.”
In business since the early-80s, the Macedonia, Ohio-based provider of OEM wheels and hubcaps has positioned itself over the years to cover a wide variety of commercial and consumer applications. Blackburn’s says it is the largest privately owned supplier of OE replacement wheel products in America.
