Stratham Tire adds store in New Hampshire

Jan. 10, 2014

Stratham Tire has opened a new store in Newfields, N.H., a short distance from where the company was founded over 50 years ago. The company held a grand opening celebration on Jan.  9, 2014.

Denise Littlefield, operations manager, says the company’s decision to open a new location is primarily focused on “seizing new growth opportunities, while serving a very loyal customer base throughout New Hampshire.”

The new store is near the company’s original location, a Sunoco gas station founded in 1961 that thrived in the area for 30 years. The original store quickly expanded from a gas station into a full service tire and auto repair provider, while simultaneously paving the way for locations in New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont.

“The entire Stratham Tire family is excited to expand into the Newfields community, especially considering our roots in the surrounding area,” says Littlefield.

The Newfields location employs ASE certified technicians to perform services ranging from engine service, timing belts, transmission flushes, tune-ups, brake and exhaust repair and more  in addition to tire sales and service.

In addition to Stratham Tire’s Newfields store, the company also operates 18 additional stores, including facilities dedicated to commercial and agricultural truck tire sales and service and tire retreading.

Stratham Tire is No. 69 on the Modern Tire Dealer 100.
