General Motors (GM) has named Continental Tire the Americas LLC a GM Supplier of the Year. This marks the fourth consecutive time that Continental has received the honor.
This year's GM Supplier of the Year award winners were chosen by a global team of GM purchasing, engineering, quality, manufacturing and logistics executives. Recipients were selected based onperformance criteria in product purchasing, global purchasing and manufacturing services, customer care and aftersales, and logistics.
“Our suppliers play a key role in delivering the products, services and experiences our customers deserve – and these award-winning suppliers went above and beyond our expectations,” said Shilpan Amin, GM vice president, Global Purchasing and Supply Chain.
“It’s an honor for us to be selected a Supplier of the Year by General Motors,” says Seckin Sekeroglu, vice president of key account management for original equipment passenger and light trucks for Continental Tire the Americas. “I’m proud of our team’s outstanding commitment to quality products and services, and we’re thankful to GM for recognizing that work.”
