Snap Microsite Offers COVID-19 Resources

May 21, 2020

Snap Finance LLC has created a new COVID-19 microsite to help businesses achieve success during the pandemic. The portal contains links to information about the CARES ACT, Paycheck Protection Program loans and other resources.

The microsite also features a series of videos that cover how to manage the business impact of the pandemic, exploring new ways to do business and how to communicate with customers more effectively.

“When COVID-19 hit, we knew that our merchant partners and the industries we service were going to face a big uphill battle,” says Nate Jarvis, vice president of marketing.

“We wanted to address two of the biggest things we felt would help them. The first was the CARES Act and stimulus funds (available to) small businesses."

Snap's goal was to make it easy for members "to know what to do and where to go and how to apply for those available funds. We wanted to make it as easy as possible for (companies) to get access to those funds," says Jarvis, who adds that "there are still funds available from the second round of stimulus.

“The second initiative is that a lot of our merchant partners have been facing different challenges – everything from not being declared an ‘essential business’ to different levels of quarantine or social distancing measures in whatever geography they fell into.

"We wanted to gather the best practices we’ve seen and heard and put them together for a web series that we call ‘Getting Your Business Through a Pandemic’ – realizing that finding ways to keep their business engines running (will be) incredibly important.”
