More than 1,100 protective face shields (pictured below) made by employees at Bridgestone Americas Inc.'s Akron, Ohio, technical center have been donated to Akron-area medical facilities and the Ohio National Guard.
Recipients include Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital and Summa Health.
The center "is continuing to produce and investigate partner organizations to expand production capacity in order to deliver more to those in need," says a Bridgestone spokesperson.
