CEAT Targets High-Power Tractors with New Ag Tire Line

April 23, 2020

CEAT Specialty Tires Ltd. is introducing the Torquemax Ag radial product line for high-power tractors in North America.

Engineered to ensure constant and smooth transfer of torque from the tractor to the ground, particularly during fieldwork, the new Torquemax range of tires has been designed to provide lower compaction and carry higher loads.

“The Torquemax range has been developed to complement the growing performance requirements of the latest high-power tractors – both on roads and on fields.” says Vijay Gambhire, managing director of CEAT Specialty Tires Ltd.

“The new product line is a testament to our growing technical prowess, and we are especially excited to be offering IF (increased flexion) technology to our North American customers.”

Torquemax IF tires are designed to provide 20% higher load carrying capacity at the same air inflation pressure as conventional radial tires, according to CEAT officials.

Tires in the new line also feature a stepped lug design for superior grip; wider tread width for lower soli compaction; longer, wider lugs that provide a bigger contact area for longer tire life; and tilted lug tips for vibration minimization at higher speeds.
