Tire Group International (TGI), one of the nation’s largest independent tire wholesalers, is opening a new distribution facility in Tampa, Fla. The 50,000-square-foot facility will be operational on May 4.
“This location will be fully stocked with all of the brands TGI now offers and is ready to meet the demands of independent tire dealers and retailers in central and northern Florida,” say TGI officials.
“TGI has been servicing these markets with once-a-day delivery from its headquarters in Miami, Fla., since 2017.”
The company will now offer twice-a-day delivery, Monday through Friday, and once-a-day delivery on Saturday in the Tampa and Orlando areas. Customer pick-up will also be available at the Tampa facility.
“After the support and loyalty from our current customer base in central Florida, opening a facility in Tampa was the next move in our strategic growth plans for TGI,” says Willie Kramer, senior vice president of domestic sales.
“We are extremely excited to continue to provide our clients in central and northern Florida with the great service TGI is known for”.
