Marangoni Tread SpA and Teknor Apex Co. have signed a letter of intent to combine their sales organizations and "product ranges" under the direction of Marangoni Tread North America Inc. (MTNA).
Pending final approval, MTNA will market and sell both its Ringtread System and Teknor Apex flat precure treads in North America.
Marangoni Tread is close to finalizing a deal for a combination warehouse/tread manufacturing plant in Tennessee or Mississippi. The company is expected to complete construction of the warehouse portion of the facility by 2002.
