Vredestein Launches High-Margin Winter Tire Program

Apollo Vredestein BV has launched its new winter tire program for 2020 that will help dealers “make margins of up to 50% on an award-winning product line-up.”

The program, which runs through the month of April, covers the Vredestein Wintrac Pro, Vredestein’s latest, flagship product that has won several customer awards and other honors in both the United States and the rest of the world; the Vredestein Wintrac Ice, and the Vredestein Snowtrac 5.

“Vredestein has a deep-rooted history in specialized winter tires, dating back to 1965,” say company officials. “With over 55 years of winter tire production, the current winter range is in its seventh generation.

“In 2019, the Wintrac Pro was ranked number-one by a leading consumer magazine in the U.S., and also achieved top spots in several other European tests, like Autobild, Auto Motorsport, and Auto Week. 

“Vredestein has one of the largest and most diverse winter tire ranges for the U.S. and Canada. For premium vehicles, where ultra-high performance is needed, the Wintrac Pro is available. For icier conditions, the Wintrac Ice has special studs, inserted in a particular pattern that maximizes grip in slick conditions. For consumers wanting a standard performance winter tire, the Snowtrac 5 offers winter capabilities for everyday winter driving conditions." 

The Vredestein winter range spans over 200 sizes, with 20% in the range of 20 inches and above. Sixteen new sizes in the greater-than-20-inch segment are coming in 2020. 

“The foundation of Vredestein’s Wintrac 2020 Winter Program is built around the promise of maximizing profitability for its current and prospective network partners,” say Vredestein officials. “Dealers can make margins in excess of 50% if they sign up for the program within the timeline.The program starts with a minimum order of two containers, with even steeper incentives for larger order quantities."
