Michelin North America Inc. is aggressively seeking more original equipment fitments for its Pax tire/wheel system.
First the company created a new position, vice president of OE business development. Then it gave Thomas Chubb the title.
Chubb, a 20-year Michelin associate, will focus on continued adoption of the system at OE. He will be headquarted at Michelin's Automotive Industry Division in Troy, Mich., beginning April 23.
According to Michelin, several vehicle manufacturers will be launching vehicles fitted with the Pax run-flat system soon.
