March 13, 2020

Alliance Tire Group introduced three Galaxy brand OTR tires, including a radial, multi-surface tire, during the recent ConExpo Show in Las Vegas, Nev.

The Alliance 575 Radial Multi-Surface Tire features steel belts and a unique block-lug hybrid, as well as a large, rectangular footprint to transmit more horsepower to the ground. "That means traction, more push, more dig and more service life for a lower cost-per-hour," according to Alliance officials.

Also new from Alliance is the Galaxy Mighty Trac ND Multiple-Terrain Tire, which contains "massive blocks, stepped and siped for better traction," more rubber in its center line for long wear and extra voids for enhanced grip. "With its cut- and abrasion-resistant compound and 52:48 rubber-to-void ratio, the Mighty Trac is ready for any surface, from snow to sand to concrete."

The tire is "ideal for municipal or rental machines," say Alliance officials.

In addition, Alliance has introduced the Galaxy Giraffe ND Telehandler Tire, which features a non-directional tread pattern with open shoulders for enhanced traction, plus other features.
