The organizers of the 38th annual Clemson Tire Conference have canceled the event due to “growing concerns” around the COVID-19 virus.
“Under the direction of university officials, we have made the difficult decision not to convene on April 28-30, 2020,” Nan Johnston, director of Clemson’s Center of Corporate Learning said yesterday in a letter that was posted on the conference’s website.
“We are working on a possible alternative date in June and will communicate this option should it be available.”
Registrants who have paid to attend the conference “with either invoice or credit card” can hold their registration payment until Clemson can confirm an alternative date, process a credit card refund immediately or void their invoice, “should you choose that payment option.”
