For the third straight year, Unimax Tire Ltd., the company that manages and markets the Point S brand in Canada, has made the list of the country's Best Managed Companies.

Collectively, the businesses recognized as Canada's Best Managed Companies in 2020 represent revenues of more than $25 million. They are honored for their investment in talent, innovation and technology.

With more than 860 independent dealers who sell three-plus million tires a year, Unimax Tire Ltd. shifted its focus to retail four years ago when it turned its main brand, Unipneu, into Point S. (Unimax manages multiple retail banners in Canada.)

Since then, Point S has gained name recognition, and Unimax Tire has been able to increase its purchasing power and improve the customer experience at its auto centers.

“Receiving this prestigious designation is, above all, an opportunity to recognize our employees and dealers," says Bruno Leclair, CEO and president of Point S Canada / Unimax Tire. "It makes our group more credible with consumers, suppliers and future employees,”

Globally, Point S has more than 5,500 retail outlets in 38 countries, including 220 in Canada. In the U.S., members of the Tire Factory Inc. cooperative operate under the Point S banner.
