Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. has introduced the Open Country A/T III, the next generation of its Open Country on/off-road all-terrain light truck tire line.
Available on March 2 in 70 popular SKUs that fit rim diameters ranging from 15 inches to 20 inches, the Toyo Open Country A/T III “delivers gripping off-road traction with responsive and predictable on-road handling,” according to Toyo officials.
Features include a new tread compound and design for enhanced grip, increased cut and chip resistance and a quiet, comfortable ride; a more evenly distributed void area for extra traction, increase tread block rigidity and an enhanced worn appearance; staggered shoulder lugs for increased off-road performance; 3D multi-wave sipes for enhanced wet and snow traction and irregular wear minimization; stone ejecting blocks, and more.
According to Toyo, the tire's P-metric SKUs come with a 65,000-mile warranty, while its LT SKUs come with a 50,000-mile warranty.
The Toyo Open Country A/T III will be available in a total of 127 SKUs, up to 22 inches in rim diameter, by this summer. Target fitments include Toyota, Nissan, Chevrolet, Ford and GMC brand light trucks, SUVs and CUVs; Jeeps; and other vehicles.
