Yokohama Will Launch Three Truck Tires at TMC

Feb. 12, 2020

Yokohama Tire Corp. will launch three new commercial truck tires in booth 3923 at the upcoming TMC show in Atlanta, Ga., February 24-26.

On display will be the all-position 504C and 115R, plus the urban pick-up/delivery 714R. Yokohama will also debut expanded sizes for its 715R open shoulder regional drive tire and the company’s 114R regional haul ultra-wide-base trailer tire.

The 504C, which is manufactured in Yokohama’s plant in West Point, Miss., is an aggressive, all-position radial engineered with a sturdy undertread to handle the punishment of on-and-off-highway applications. “Its improved retreadability and longer overall casing life make it the perfect performer for jobs that go beyond where the pavement ends,” says Tom Clauer, Yokohama’s senior manager of commercial and OTR product planning.

The 504C, which replaces Yokohama's MY507, will be available in May in sizes 11R22.5 (Load Rating H) and 11R24.5 (Load Rating H.)

The 714R features “durable construction and outstanding fuel efficiency,” say Yokohama officials. The tire will be available this summer in sizes 225/70R19.5 (14) and 245/70R19.5 (16).

Also debuting this summer is the 115R, a tough, all-season/all-position tire built to provide Class 4 and 5 vehicles with “superior year-round traction and dependability to get the job done. It’s engineered with a heat-resistant compound for better fuel efficiency and longer lasting tread. Plus, it has an N speed rating (87 mph). The 115R will initially beavailable in a 225/70R19.5 (14)."

The 715R – Yokohama’s SmartWay-verified open shoulder regional drive tire – is available now in sizes 295/75R22.5, 285/75R24.5 and 11R24.5. The deep-tread, fuel-efficient 715R is already available in size 11R22.5.

Also SmartWay-verified, the 114R UWB, a super fuel-efficient, long-lasting regional haul ultra-wide-base trailer tire, will be available this spring in a new size – 455/55R/22.5 – as well as its current size: 445/50R/22.5.

Yokohama will display other commercial truck tires inside its TMC booth, including the 101ZL Spec 2, the BluEarth 109L UWB, and the 104ZR, as well as the 902L UWB and the 712L.
