Jasinowski becomes corporate officer at Goodyear

April 3, 2001

Before Tuesday, Isabel Jasinowski was vice president of government relations for the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. Now she's also a corporate officer.

Jasinowski, the company's senior official in Washington, D.C., since 1995, was elected corporate officer by Goodyear today. She joined Goodyear in 1981.

"She has played a key role with the Transatlantic Business Dialogue organization as it seeks to harmonize tire standards in the U.S. and Europe," say Sam Gibara, Goodyear's chairman and CEO.

Jasinowski started her career as director of local issues for Governor Jimmy Carter's 1976 presidential campaign. She also worked for the U.S. Department of Commerce prior to joining Goodyear.
