Somerset Tire Service (STS) Inc. has opened a new retail store in Massapequa, N.Y.
The full-service facility is STS' 75th shop in the New York/New Jersey/Pennsylvania area.
The 82-outlet dealership plans to open two more outlets in New York -- one in Huntington and the other in Selden -- later this year.
With $91 million in annual sales, STS is the ninth largest independent tire store chain in North America, according to Modern Tire Dealer statistics.
