Horizon Tire Inc. is continuing its portfolio expansion with the addition of two new tires, the Supermax HT-1 and the Supermax RT-1.
Available in 20 popular sizes, the Supermax HT-1 targets the SUV, CUV and light truck segments. It features an advanced, modern tread design for enhanced traction on both wet and dry surfaces; a special center rib block for optimal stability, handling and comfort; and reduced rolling resistance, which contributes to improved fuel economy.
The Supermax HT-1, which comes with a 50,000-mile warranty, will eventually be available in 90 sizes, according to Horizon officials.
The Supermax RT-1 features a “dynamic, hybrid tread design” that combines “the best mud-terrrain and all-terrain features,” say Horizon officials. It also boasts a special shoulder/sidewall design for enhanced toughness and delivers “optimal mileage and precise handling in all weather conditions.”
The tire will be available this month in 11 popular light truck sizes.
The roll-out of the Supermax HT-1 and Supermax RT-1 follows Horizon’s introduction of four new tires during the 2019 Specialty Equipment Market Association Show.
