BKT Is Spotlighting Earthmax Line at Excon Show

Dec. 11, 2017

Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT) is displaying its latest Earthmax tires at the 2017 edition of Excon, an international construction equipment and technology trade fair in Karnataka, India, Dec. 12-16.

BKT says its Earthmax tire line has been developed to favor the best weight distribution on the ground for dumpers, loaders, dozers, graders and some multi-purpose vehicles.

The Earthmax SR 45 will be displayed in size 18.00 R 33. BKT says the SR 45 is an ideal tire for rigid dumpers operating even on the harshest grounds. An essential feature is the extraordinary tread depth increasing tire durability and ensuring productive efficiency on the long run.

Also designed for rigid dumpers is the Earthmax SR 47, displayed in size size 24.00 R 35. BKT says the SR 47 stands out for an extra-long product life-cycle thanks to its E4-class tread that reduces wear and provides extreme resistance against cuts and abrasion.

The Earthmax SR 46 is BKT’s response to adverse and rocky environments. Displayed at Excon in size 27.00 R 35, this tire features an all-steel casing reinforced with steel-belts to provide excellent protection against impacts, mechanical stress, and punctures.

The Earthmax SR 55 is being displayed in size size 18.00 R 25. The tire’s extra-deep L-5-class-marked and smooth-surfaced tread provide strength and resistance, making it ideal when facing high production peaks with very little standstill times, according to BKT.

The Earthmax SR 31 is displayed in size 23.5 R 25 and is specifically developed for rigid dumpers and loaders. BKT says the Earthmax SR 31 tire offers traction and riding comfort. Made of a special compound, not only is it extremely resistant against cuts and abrasion, it also dissipates the heat developed during equipment operation.

In addition to the Earthmax products, BKT is displaying the XL Grip (L3) in size 17.5-25. The company says it is a cross-ply tire that provides stability and durability. It has been particularly engineered for loaders for the purpose of reducing the risk of perforation during heavy-load operations to a minimum level.

The XL Grip (BHL) is designed for backhoe loaders used in excavation, leveling and loading operations. The XL Grip (BHL) features a non-directional tread design, traction, and stability and is displayed in size 12.00 – 24.

The Super Grader, a bias tire a bias tire for graders that offers traction and self-cleaning properties, is displayed in size 14.00 – 24.

The EM 936 has been developed for excavators and telehandlers used in industrial applications.   BKT says the EM 936 features easy handling, improved self-cleaning properties, and excellent traction, as well as riding comfort. It is showcased in size 16.0/70 – 20.

Excon 2017 is being held at the Bangalore International Exhibition Center Dec. 12-16.  BKT will be at stand A-1 in Hall 1LL.
