Tech International announces promotions, corporate restructuring

Johnstown, Ohio-based Tech International has announced a number of promotions as a result of its corporate restructuring.

Robert Overs has been promoted to chief operating officer. He will be responsible for managing all operational aspects of the Tech Global Group of Companies including strategic business planning.

He joined the company in 1990 as controller and until recently served as Tech's chief financial officer.

Les Mawson has been named general operations manager for Tech International's North American operations.

He will be responsible for the performance of Tech's North American business unit including overall financial and sales performance as well as customer satisfaction performance.

He has more than 30 years of management experience, including 10 years as senior vice president of a $120 million company.

Kim Hansen has been appointed chief financial officer. Hansen will coordinate and direct the financial activities for Tech's worldwide operations, including accounting, financial and tax reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, treasury management and fiscal planning.

She began her career with Tech in 1995 as assistant controller and was promoted to controller, a position she held until her recent promotion.
