Momo Brings Performance Tire Line to North American Market

Momo Automotive Group’s full range of performance tires for passenger cars, light trucks and sport utility vehicles is now available in North America.

The North American launch of Momo tires is anchored by a newly established corporate office based in Irvine, Calif., and led by Gianluca Grioni, a tire executive with more than twenty years of industry experience. The company introduced Momo brand tires to the European market in 2012. 

Momo tires are engineered in Italy, tested in Europe and feature tread designs for enhanced performance in all driving conditions. The company says innovative engineering and the use of advanced silica compounds allows Momo tires to offer improved fuel efficiency, low road noise, and enhanced grip and handling for a superior driving experience.

The 2018 line holds numerous top quality standard certificates worldwide and will feature 12 unique all-season, winter and summer patterns with new models planned for late 2018, according to the company.

Momo was founded in 1964 by race car driver Gianpiero Moretti. Since 2005, Momo has been headquartered in Milan, Italy, with a subsidiary in the U.S., Momo USA. Momo and Momo tires are part of the Cisneros Corp., which also owns Weld Racing LLC. The Momo tires product line will be displayed in the Weld booth (number 20365) at the 2017 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show Oct. 31-Nov. 3 in Las Vegas.
