Bromfield Is Named 1st American CEO of Toyo Tire U.S.A.

President Roy Bromfield has added CEO of Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. to his business card. He replaces Tomoshige "Tomo" Mizutani, who will remain chairman of the company.

Mizutani is also chairman and CEO of Nitto Tire U.S.A. Inc., and remains a senior corporate officer with the parent company, Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. Ltd.

In his expanded role, Bromfield is responsible for all product categories of Toyo branded business in the U.S. replacement market. He will report to the TTC Board of Directors.

Bromfield joined Toyo Tire U.S.A. in December 2012 as chief operating officer. He added president to his COO duties on Jan. 1, 2016.

Prior to joining Toyo, Bromfield was CEO of Q Tires Inc. He also held various sales and marketing positions at Michelin North America Inc., including vice president of North American marketing and sales, and CEO and president of Tire Centers LLC.
