Feb. 26, 2001

The Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA) has joined a coalition supporting President George W. Bush's tax cut agenda, which calls for $1.6 trillion in tax relief.

"Without question, early adoption of this proposal will provide tax relief to millions of Americans while providing a healthy stimulus to our nation's economy," says Donald Shea, RMA CEO and president.

Founding members of the coalition include the National Association of Manufacturers, the National Association of Wholesale-Distributors, the National Federation of Independent Business and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
