TBC Corp. is the latest company to experiment with a mobile tire installation service. NTB Tire & Service Centers will pilot the program in Dallas, and Tire Kingdom locations will offer it in West Palm Beach, Fla.
TBC says the "concierge service (is) designed with the busy customer in mind." It will be defined by "a high attention to detail and exceptional customer service," and a dedicated team will work with consumers to identify and order the appropriate product and schedule an installation appointment.
Here's how NTB is promoting the mobile service online:
"Need new tires, but don't feel like driving to your local store? You're in luck! For an extra $50, our new mobile tire installation van will come to your home or business and provide the following tire services: mounting, installation and balancing."
Consumers can arrange for the mobile service at select NTB locations, or by calling 1-844-Get-Tires. The mobile tire service will be available six days a week: from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
