Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations LLC and Bridgestone Canada Inc. will increase the prices of select Bridgestone- and Firestone-brand truck and bus radial tires, as well as Bandag retreads and tire-related services.
The price hike will be effective Nov. 9 for all national account, national fleet and national fleet preferred accounts in the U.S. and Canada. It attributed the hike to "increased business costs and other market dynamics."
In its announcement Bridgestone didn't reveal the amount of this price increase. (The company increased the price of Dayton-brand TBR tires 10% on Sept. 24.)
Members of the Bridgestone commercial sales team are contacting customers to provide more detailed information about the changes.
