Larry Jeffries Is the New CEO of Tredroc Tire Services

Larry Jeffries has been named chief executive officer of Tredroc Tire Services Inc. The former Bridgestone executive’s appointment is effective Oct. 1, 2018.

Jeffries succeeds John Boynton, another former Bridgestone executive, who has served as Tredroc’s CEO since Sept. 1, 2016. Under Boynton’s leadership, Tredroc Tire Services merged with Belle Tire Distributors Inc.’s commercial division and Belleroc Tire Services, a joint venture formed in 2010 by Belle Tire and Tredroc.

Jeffries joined newly formed Tredroc organization in 2016 as a consultant and became chief operating officer in December 2017. Prior to joining Tredroc, Jeffries was chief operating officer for GCR Tires & Service (GCR), a division of Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations LLC (BATO).

Jeffries joined Bridgestone in 1999.  His roles at Bridgestone include director of technical planning at the Bridgestone Americas Akron Technical Center in Akron, Ohio. He also spent 10 years as a regional operations manager at Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO).

Before that, he held various roles at the BSRO subsidiary Tires Plus Total Car Car, including regional vice president and national director of communications.

An Oklahoma native, Jeffries began his tire industry career as a tire mounter and mechanic in Oklahoma City.

Based in Elk Grove Village, Ill., Tredroc Tire Services operates 21 commercial service centers, five retread plants and 270 service trucks. The company's outlets are located in Illinois, MIchigan, western Ohio and northern Indiana. For more information, visit www.tredroc.com.
