Simple Tire LLC has made a big splash in its first year on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing private companies in the U.S.
The online tire seller debuts on the 2018 list at No. 419. The list, which is based on revenue growth over a three-year period, says Simple Tire's growth during that time frame was 1,197%. The company's 2017 revenue was $162.1 million, and Simple Tire says it expects 2018 revenue to be $500 million.
There is no automotive or tire category on the Inc. 5000, so Simple Tire is categorized as a retail business. It's the No. 22 retail company on the list.

RNR Tire Express is also on the list, but in a different category — consumer products and services. RNR holds the No. 3514 spot on the 2018 list. In 2017 it was No. 4553, in 2010 it was No. 4152, and in 2009 it was No. 1649.
According to the Inc. 5000, RNR recorded 107% growth over the past three years with $4.3 million in revenue in 2017.
