Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. will increase the price of select consumer tire lines on Sept. 1.
Prices will go up by as much as 3% on all Goodyear brands. The increase applies to the U.S. only, and Goodyear attributed it to "rising costs" and says it "reflects the strong value of the Goodyear brands."
This is the company's first price hike of 2018. The company increased prices twice in 2017, in February and in May.
