Ford Expands Coverage of Omnicraft Coated Brake Rotors and Drums

Aug. 14, 2018

Ford Motor Co. has added 136 part numbers to its Omnicraft brand of coated brake rotors and drums for non-Ford/Lincoln vehicle repairs.

The new part numbers complement the 235 part numbers that were launched in 2017.

“Omnicraft prides itself on offering a wide range of applications,” says Drew Laird, Ford North American brake product manager. “With this introduction, we now provide coverage for many popular vehicle lines, including late-model Chevrolet Silverado, Toyota Camry, Hyundai Santa Fe and Nissan NV200.”

The company says Omnicraft rotors and drums feature a GG15HC formulated high-carbon casting which provides:

  • enhanced heat dissipation and extended brake life;
  • high resistance to thermal cracking and fade; and
  • low noise propensity and resistance to brake judder.

In addition, the coating provides:

  • corrosion prevention and increased rust resistance; and
  • clean appearance for open wheels.

As with all Omnicraft parts, each component is backed by a limited lifetime warranty with unlimited mileage, labor included and no commercial exceptions.

Omnicraft is part of the Ford lineup of parts brands: Ford, Motorcraft and Omnicraft. Omnicraft is the exclusive non-Ford/Lincoln parts brand of aftermarket parts. For more information, visit www.omnicraftautoparts.com.
