John Kline, president of Old Dominion Tire Services Inc. in Midlothian, Va., is the new president of the Virginia Automotive Association (VAA). He replaces Scott Brown, owner of Cardinal Plaza Shell in Springfield, Va.
Kline was one of three new officers elected at the VAA's annual meeting, held at The Omni Homestead in Hot Springs, Va., on April 14, 2018 (Brown became past president). The others were:
* President-elect: Chris Barnett, general manager, Tire Tread Service Inc., Fredericksburg, Va.
* Secretary/Treasurer: Jerry Tatum, president, Leete Tire & Auto Center Inc., Petersburg, Va.
In addition, three new board members from Virginia were elected. The are ST Billingsley of B&W Associates in Woodbridge; Andrea Ellett of Winding Brook Tire Pros in Milford; and Kim Taylor of Titan Auto & Tire in South Chesterfield.
